A UK standard for sockets in the hallway is one socket but you may consider 2 if it’s a large or long hallway these are usually for items such as vacuum cleaners & battery chargers or positioned near an external door for outdoor appliance. Also, consider positioning sockets close to a telephone point for internet routers as these will always need a power supply, telephone points can also be relocated or added if required.
