Smart Electricians were contacted by Jordanna, the owner of The Headonist hair salon Campo Lane, Sheffield, regarding a commercial electrical installation. The project was a full electrical rewire of all sockets, emergency lights, feature lighting, general lighting, security, fire alarm circuits and to replace the existing dated consumer unit.
Our client had very specific ideas on how she wanted the hair salon to look and feel for her clients, so we combined our electrical expertise and creative outlook to deliver an effective and practical solution for thier working environment.
The focal point for the salon was a 5ft feature light which hung from the exposed concrete ceiling. This was a solid oak rustic beam with five LED filament style lamps creating a warm, inviting glow to the salon. Exposed cable trays and conduit added to the industrial look our client was creating and also provided a cost effective and practical solution for cable management and future alterations.
As with any commercial electrical installation project of this nature, timing was crucial as having the salon open by the specified date was an important aspect of this contract. We had the project complete, ready for business and the feedback we received from our client and their customers was fantastic.
